this is a prayer i PRAY everyday before i GO TO WORK. (: Although there are many things going on in the kitchen...the PEACE which TRANSCENDS ALL UNDERSTANDING did guard my heart and mind in Christ Jesus.

was reading this chapter on "Go, and sin no more." book title : kissed the girls and made them cry
a book given by my spiritual uncle last year for my birthday present. (:
As i was reading the past 2 chapters, it talked about the ancient battle waging between the enemy of our souls, Satan and the daughters of Eve. He (satan) has been constant and persistent in his attempts to shame, strip and dishonour woman from the time of the Garden even until now. Book stated : there is nowhere in the bible where this struggle is more evident than with the woman taken in adultery.
i'll tell you the moral and a little on what happened.. :
there was a disheveled woman clutching a remant of cloth or bedding in an attempt to hide her nakedness, but her covering is not enough. she was abruptly dragged from a bed of shame. the religious leaders are not content to let her cower on the ground; they stand her up for all to see.
what is this called? Nakedness and shame
now what do u think the leaders wanted Jesus to say?
John8:7-8 " if any one of you is without sin,let him be the first to throw a stone at her."
Jesus is without sin,but He refused to throw a stone at the woman.
Everyone started to drop their stones and one by one left following each other..there was only Jesus left.
Jesus told her " go now and leave your life of sin." John8:10-11
now this lady is no longer a daughter of darkness and death,but a lady of life and light.
the words of Jesus to us : "i do not condemn you.i forgive and release you from the sentence of judgement and sin. Now, go and sin no more.You are free!"
Rem that your past sin is not your future, your bondage was your past but freedom is your future. so, go and sin no more. Jesus never condemns. (:
freedom or bondage is a choice..do u want to be living in sin or living a life of light?
i want to choose freedom =)

today went to tct for daven, fiona,mary yeo, joshua chong, earnest fu and john koh's baptism but i only know 3. haha..
pastor patrick was teaching on fear, Mark4: 35-41
when ure afraid, u lose faith. why? cause fear grips you.
in times of trouble, evil forces are working with evil forces.
but well ,cont to ask Jesus for PROTECTION!~ (:

im now re-reading the book of Romans., have finished reading it before but i realised i didnt do any bible study on it.. so now im starting. (:
on Paul's visit to Rome.
Paul was a servant of Jesus and was called to be an apostle and set apart for the gospel of God.
what Paul said in verse9 : God whom i serve with my whole heart in preaching the gospel of his Son is my witness now constantly i remember you in my prayers at all times.
The righteous will live by faith. Righteous from God is revealed that is by faith from first to last.
Second part of Romans 1 : God's wrath against mankind
the wrath of God being revealed frm heaven against all the godlessness and wickedness of men who surpasses the truth of wickedness.
men? is it just man? but mankind..means we humans that He created.
what happened? the men,the mankind
-claimed to know God but they neither glorified him as God nor gave thanksgiving
-but their thinking became futile
-foolish hearts were darkened
-claimed to be wise but instead they became fools,
-exchanged the glory of the immortal God for images made look like mortal man,birds,animals and reptiles.
We (people who are christians) ..are we just having the status of religion sake called "christian" so that people may have a better impression of you or are we really living a life of being a child of God? or are we like the pple mentioned in Romans1 ? or are we just having the status of religion christian but we're not doing anything to be more Christ like..
His eternal power and divine nature- have clearly seen and understood so that men has no excuse.
Excuse of what? excuse of not knowing how great God is and how wonderful He made us and his divine nature.
Because the romans didnt give glory to God, they didnt give thanks to Him and the others mentioned above.
vs26: God gave them over to shameful lust. Men committed indecent acts with other men?
the people was filled with:
wickedness, evil,greed and depravity
Full of :
Envy, murder,strife, deceit, malice, gossipers, slanderers, God-haters, insolent, arrogant, boastful, invent ways of evil deeds, disobey parents, senseless, faithless and ruthless.
are we living our lives like the romans or are we living a Godly life? which do u really want?
in terms of wanting to live like the romans or do u really want to live a life like a child of God? (:
for me i wld of cos choose to live a life of a child of God? why? not because i want the nice-to- hear word "christian" from others.. what does it benefit me? Many people claim that they're christians, but are they really Christ like? there good n bad christians, most pple think that christians are all good people but its not true.
last part : although they know God's righteous degree, they deserve death. but why? because they not only full of wickedness but they also approve of those who practice them.
dear Lord, i pray that You help me to remember all that ive learned and put it into application and Lord help me to live a godly life..so that i can reflect You in all that i do, not i do not just to bring glory to myself but i wld just want to have this desire to bring glory unto You and that Lord, show me and help me in ways that im weak but Lord in my weakness, You are my strength and my pillar. that i will not lean on my own strength but Lord i'll cont to lean on You and trust that You'll bring me through it all that Lord things wont happen that i cant take but everything that happens, it happens for a reason. Father help me to be more like you, i commit my life unto You, in Jesus name i pray, amen.

what God spoke to me today at service and at altar call. and my own points of how the past was and each main point pastor gave.
todays sermon: Gideon- winning when you dont feel like a warrior.
1) God has a better opinion of you - dont look down on yourself.
to be honest, ive alwas looked down upon myself. why? it always seem to me that other people are smarter than me,prettier than me,etc
people has compared me with other people..and the person dat was been compared to me is most of the times smbody i know or the person comparing knows, and i always feel v inferior to others.
people wld alwas say me "grace ah,why so stupid? why cant you like like this person?" etc etc..
my dad use to tell me in the past.. "i dunno why i even kept you since you were born..i didnt even plan for you..talk to you will vomit blood, talk to u also no use..u'll never learn and ure hopeless. you can just go jump building i also wont care,always give us so much prob. If only ure smarter, you wldnt hv gone to ITE n etc..!!" wtf!! ive alot more things to say about this.. =(
my dad and i alwas quarrel and when we quarrel, it's never good words spoken out of his mouth. but whatever!`
application: know that God loves me for who i am and not what ive done. But how to really let it sink into my heart? im still wondering..
2) God wants you to give you a better future - dont be weighed down by your present circumtances.
